Seng Khasi Higher Secondary School, has come along way since its inception in 1921. The Centenary Celebrations commemorate a century of commitment to education and service to all sections of society as inspired by Late Babu Rash Mohan Roy Nongrum. Through the years the school has withstood the test of time and we owe a debt of gratitude to the many stalwarts intellectuals who braved the challenges during the early years for the school to be what it is today.

Throughout this arduous journey, we have tried our best to provide our students with facilities that would cater to the needs of this modern generation. To keep pace with the advancement of Science and Technology we have the Digital Room besides the Computer Lab to facilitate immersive and interactive learning experience. The school also has scientific laboratories that provide an opportunity for scientific inquiry. For the Kindergarten beginners there is a school park tucked away exclusively for their use. This also helps promote physical activities, interaction with schoolmates and play based learning. Our school also focuses on co-curricular activities designed for students to explore, learn and excel in different fields. The presence of various activities like sports, Literary Club, Heritage Club, Music School, Junior Red Cross (JRC), National Cadet Corps (NCC) and Bharat Scouts and Guides (BS&G) has further instilled values of leadership, community service and environmental stewardship. These initiatives nurture children to be individuals who would make a positive impact on society.

All this would not have happened if not for the selfless service and commitment of the Managing Committee through the years and the dedication and grit of former Headmistresses, Principals and teachers, parents, well-wishers and enthusiastic students who have contributed to our success.
